'Bachelorette' Kaitlyn Bristowe slams 'Bachelor' creator Mike Fleiss over 'Dancing With the Stars'

Kaitlyn Bristowe has a bone to pick with Mike Fleiss, the creator of "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette."

Amid news that current "Bachelor" star Nick Viall would most likely be competing on the upcoming season of "Dancing With the Stars," Bristowe spoke out on Monday about why she never competed on the popular competition show.

Whitney Bischoff, who won over the heart of Chris Soules on his season of "The Bachelor" before the couple eventually broke up, tweeted at Bristowe asking, "Why does a bachelorette never get this gig @BachelorABC?!? I wanted to see [Kaitlyn Bristowe] shake her tail feather!"

It's important to note that Soules actually went on to compete on "DWTS" himself.

After Bischoff's inquiry, Bristowe replied and slammed Fleiss for suggesting that she not compete on the show.

"Actually I was offered it," she revealed. "Had the contract & Mike Fliess [sic] told me I wasn't allowed. He said he didn't want people wanting fame after his show."

The reveal came despite the fact that past "Bachelor" stars Sean Lowe, Jake Pavelka and Melissa Rycroft have all competed on the show. Trista Sutter, the first-ever "Bachelorette," is the only star of that show to be on "Dancing With the Stars."

Other stars rumored to be competing on the upcoming 24th season of "DWTS" include Simone Biles, Mr. T, Nancy Kerrigan and "Real Housewives" star Erika Gerardi.
