Duchess Kate fails to impress with her pool game during visit to children's charity

It looks like royals have their flaws too!

The Duchess of Cambridge made a visit to a youth center in South Wales on Wednesday where she participated in a fun game of pool. However, she wasn't the all-star many were probably expecting her to be ...

"She was dreadful!" Craig Davies, her 15-year-old partner, joked to People.

Kate, 35, patted his back and apologized for the poor attempt after failing to sink a yellow ball.

While she's certainly not a pool phenom, she found other ways to impress the children.

"She was really interested in talking to us," Davies sad, who told Kate a story about his dog and was then given an update on the royal family's pets, including cocker spaniel Lupo and Marvin the Hamster.

While she was leaving the youth center, two young girls came up to Princess Kate and handed her a bouquet of gorgeous flowers. She was asked about her two kiddos, Princess Charlotte and Prince George, and she happily gave an update on their lives.

"George and Charlotte would have loved to meet you," the mother-of-two told the youngsters.

Kate looked absolutely gorgeous in a merlot-colored outfit she previously wore in 2012. She accessorized the look differently this time around, opting for black suede knee high boots and a black top, black gloves while pulling her curly tresses back in a clip.

The royal has been taking her duties quite seriously in 2017, making more public appearances for the charities she supports. Kensington Palace also announced that she and husband Prince William will make a big trip to Paris in mid-March, which marks his first time visiting the City of Light since his mother, Princess Diana, died there in a car crash nearly 20 years ago.
