Derek Jeter's wife Hannah drops baby bombshell -- see the announcement!

And baby makes three!

Hannah Jeter (Davis) announced in The Players' Tribune on Monday that she and hubby Derek are expecting their first child -- a girl.

The 26-year-old model began her post, "The Derek I Know," by getting candid about how her relationship with the New York Yankees icon began.

"When a mutual friend introduced us while I was at dinner with my mom in New York, I didn't really know who Derek was at all," the brunette beauty admitted.

She confessed that adjusting to Derek's level of fame was incredibly difficult. Often times, they were followed by paparazzi or got interrupted at dinner by passionate fans. Most of their time was spent in the privacy of their own homes.

"The only way to maintain some sort of privacy -- to be together, just the two of us -- was to stay in."

It wasn't until Derek's last game at Yankee Stadium that "everything fell into place."

"There was something about the feeling of that night that was unforgettable. I knew how much it meant to me. But for the first time, I think I could also fully sense how much it meant to everyone else: the culmination of this 20-year career, this 20-year journey that they had all been on together," Jeter's wife wrote. "This atmosphere that I had gotten so swept up in — for a lot of people, baseball is like that every night. Yankees fans had had two whole decades worth of nights like this. They grew up with Derek Jeter, and he grew up with them. And I don't think I'd understood that before."

Hannah then switched the topic to their plans for the future -- and that's when she casually dropped the baby bombshell!

"Timing is everything," she wisely said. "Big moments also have a funny way of making you look ahead. Now, pregnant with our first child, Derek and I are looking to the future."

The soon-to-be momma revealed the gender of their bundle of joy with a photo of her husband holding a bunch of pink balloons while making a silly face. A couple of sentences later, she writes that she's due in May.

"He already has a name in mind -- he's set on it," she gushed.

Hannah and Derek tied the knot in 2016 in a super private ceremony in California. The bride wore a stunning lace mermaid gown that showed off her tiny figure, while the groom looked dapper in a sleek tuxedo. The adorable pair dated for three years before news of their engagement broke in 2015.

And while the former Sport's Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model is over-the-moon excited about being a mom, there's one thing she's having reservations about.

"If they want to play baseball, well, we're gonna have a little talk first."
