Craziest celebrity wardrobe malfunctions of 2016
Stars took major risks this year with hip-high slits, nude dresses, and sheer paneling being the biggest trends on the red carpet. But with hot trends comes nasty wardrobe malfunctions, and some stars this year suffered big time.
John Legend's leading lady, Chrissy Teigen gave the world a show when she showed up to the American Music Awards in a black dress that had a seriously high slit. Within moments, the dress had shifted, revealing a lot of her lady bits to the world. Naturally, the model mom took the whole situation in stride and later thanked her hair removal expert in an Instagram post of her dress.

1.) Bella Hadid bares all at Cannes:
The Victoria's Secret model put everything on display in Cannes in a slinky red dress with a thigh hight slit and an extremely low neckline. The trouble was -- when she walked, the dress shifted revealing just a slit of fabric to cover her up. Big oops!
2.) Two Italian models give us a major peep-show
If you're trying to make a name for yourself at Cannes, there's no better way to do it than to just let it all hang out there! Giulia Salemi and Dayane Mello left very little to the imagination in orange and pink dresses that had such high slits that every time they walked, we got a full frontal. At one point, the models just seem to give up!
3.) Chrissy Teigen's American Music Award slit situation
You gotta get a closer look at Teigen's big whops at the AMAs this year, since it was one of the most talked-about parts of the show. The dress, which was pinned together on the side, was basically an accident waiting to happen. When it wasn't showing off too much in the front, it was definitely showing off a lot in the back. As she walked onto the stage, audience members got a prime look at her rear.
4.) Britney Spears loses a bra strap on stage
Like a true pro, Britney Spears can perform through anything! She proved just that when her bra top broke during a performance in Las Vegas and she just held her top on while she continued to dance and sing. Aced it, Brit!
5.) Gigi Hadid at the Victoria's Secret Fashion show
Bras are apparently really tricky. Gigi Hadid had a wardrobe whoops when she was modeling at the Victoria's Secret Fashion show and her own bra strap snapped off. Luckily, there were enough other straps in this look to keep her held together.
6.) Ciara's wardrobe whoops on purpose
Listen, not everyone is afraid to show things off. Ciara flashed some major sideboob at the Billboard Music Awards and left jaws on the floor. In most cases, this would be a big wardrobe whoops, but it's clear that the "1, 2 Step" singer did it on purpose.
7) Gigi Hadid has a major nip slip at Versace Fashion Show
Gigi really has a hard time on the catwalk. In February, the stunning model was walking in the Versace Fashion Show when things went very wrong and her dress slid off her shoulder, revealing her bare breast. Whoops!
8.) Sharna Burgess got caught in a slip on live TV
"Dancing With the Stars" does require a lot of technical movements, so it's not a huge surprise that costumes sometimes rip. But Sharna Burgess got caught with a rip in a very unfortunate spot during the live broadcast. Thankfully, fellow pro Peta warned her about the situation.

Iggy headed Down Under for the GQ MOTY Awards, but she decided on a pretty daring ensemble. The singer donned a blazer with nothing underneath, which gave onlookers a wild view.
10.) Ben Affleck goes unzipped
Wardrobe malfunctions aren't just about the girl. Ben Affleck suffered an embarrassing gaffe at the "Suicide Squad" premiere when he apparently forgot to button his pants. Sometimes that extra step is rough, right?
