Stars react to Carrie Fisher's death at 60

Legendary actress Carrie Fisher died on Tuesday morning at the age of 60.

The "Star Wars" star's daughter, actress Billie Lourd, confirmed the news just one week after Fisher suffered a heart attack while flying from London to Los Angeles that landed her in the hospital.

As news broke on Tuesday afternoon, stars took to social media to share their tributes to the trailblazing star, who spoke her mind throughout her decades-long career.

Fisher's "Star Wars" costar, Billy Dee Williams, was one of the first to react, as were names like Whoopi Goldberg, William Shatner, Patton Oswalt and Rosanne Barr.

"I'm deeply saddened at the news of Carrie's passing," Williams wrote. "She was a dear friend, whom I greatly respected and admired. The force is dark today!"
