Jimmy Kimmel is not afraid to talk matters of the bank account!

The Jimmy Kimmel Live! host revealed while talking to L.A.'s KROQ radio station that he'll be paid a relatively modest (for Hollywood, that is) $15,000 for hosting the 2017 Academy Awards.

"I'm not sure I was supposed to reveal this," the 49-year-old comedian admitted after sharing his earnings. "But nobody told me not to. I consider this their fault."

"I think it's illegal to pay nothing," Kimmel joked. "They asked like 14 people and they all said no and then there was me."

Meanwhile, ET caught up with Kimmel at last week's Los Angeles premiere of Office Christmas Party, where he shared that he had forgotten to tell his parents about his big hosting gig!
