Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik join forces on 'Fifty Shades' song 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever': Listen

Best take a seat for this news: Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik have teamed up on "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" a song from the upcoming Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack.

Swift shared the artwork and a snippet of the track from her social media accounts just before midnight.

The pop superstars take turns in delivering their lines. "Baby babe, I feel crazy/Up all night, all night and all day/I give you something, but you gave me nothing/What is happening to me," sings Taylor in an early verse. Then her collaborator and former One Direction star takes over: "I don't want to live forever, 'cause I don't wanna be living in pain." Listen below.

"I Don't Wanna Live Forever" is the first single from Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack, which is due to drop Feb. 10 through Republic Records.

The song was written specifically for the feature film by Swift, Jack Antonoff & Sam Dew and produced by Antonoff. The latest movie in the Fifty Shades franchise will arrive in theaters on February 10, 2017 via Universal Pictures.

This is the collab no-one saw coming. "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" is Swift's first new release as a vocalist in 2016 and the first taste of her music post-1989.
