Niall Horan's lyric video for 'This Town' depicts a heartbreaking love story

Niall Horan's first single has its first official video, and it's as heartbreaking as the lyrics themselves.

The lyric video for "This Town" dropped Wednesday (Nov. 23), which depicts the love story Horan tells in his song through a sketched visual.

Starting out with scenes of two people nearly kissing and a couple walking under the same umbrella, the lyric video makes it seem as though Horan's song is one with a happy ending. While "This Town" isn't the most depressing song on the planet, by the end of the lyric video -- which features personal touches like Horan's love for golf and his howntown of Mullingar, Ireland -- fans are reminded that the song is still one of long-lost love.
