American Music Awards 2016: Red carpet arrivals

One of music's biggest nights, the American Music Awards, is upon us!

The 2016 AMAs are happening Sunday night in Los Angeles, and the major award show is set to feature appearances from music's hottest stars like Drake, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, who will perform via satellite from Europe.

The show will be hosted by model Gigi Hadid and former "Saturday Night Live" cast member, Jay Pharoah.

Hadid stepped out wearing an intricate Roberto Cavalli gown that hinted at a casual approach to her first major award show hosting gig.
