Janet Jackson tweets she Is 'doing well,' sends thanks for 'love and prayers'

Janet Jackson, who confirmed she's pregnant in October after postponing her tour earlier in the year to focus on planning a family with husband Wissam Al Mana, has shared an update with fans on Twitter. The tweet, pinned to the top of the singer's official page, is her first since August.

"Hey you guys.. It's been awhile.. but I'm still listening.. I feel your love and prayers.. Thank you.. and I'm doing well.. Al Hamdu lillah," she wrote. "Alhamdulillah" is the Arabic phrase for "praise be to God."

"We thank God for our blessing," the 50-year-old singer previously said to People, who published a photo of Jackson showing her baby bump last month.
