Brad Pitt 'crushed' about how little he's seen his six children since divorce announcement.

Brad Pitt may have put on a happy face during last week's premiere of his new film, "Allied," but sources told Us Weekly that he was simply putting up a front.

"He's crushed," the source said about the actor, who has reportedly only seen his six children three times in the past eight weeks, when Angelina Jolie filed for divorce.

Another source noted that Pitt "wants to limit the fighting" when it comes to his continuing divorce proceedings with his soon-to-be ex-wife.

"Brad has been deferential on what's best for them and limits their stress," another insider revealed. "You don't just immediately create a new world."

Though the Los Angeles Country Department of Children and Family Services announced last week that it was ending its investigation into claims that Pitt abused one of his children on a private plane in September, the FBI's investigation is still ongoing.

Jolie and Pitt agreed to extend their current custody agreement as it stands, with sole custody going to Jolie and Pitt allowed supervised visits.
