Garth Brooks joins 'The Voice' as key adviser
Garth Brooks is headed to The Voice!
The 54-year-old country legend will serve as a key adviser for the Top 12 artists in an episode airing on Monday, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Brooks is the latest to join what has already proven to be a star-studded season, with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill serving as key advisers last month and, before that, Bette Midler, Joan Jett, Sammy Hagar and Charlie Puthappearing as team mentors.

The Voice goes live for the first time this season on Monday, Nov. 7, in an unprecedented move. For the first time ever, voters at home will weigh in on the Top 20 performances in real time, advancing two artists during the two-hour telecast. Then, throughout the show, coaches Miley Cyrus, Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys and Adam Levine will make the immediate decision to save one artist each to complete their roster.
The Top 12 will move on to the final live-show phase of the competition, beginning next week.

Meanwhile, Brooks is gearing up to release new music on the heels of a huge milestone! The "Friends in Low Places" singer recently became the first artist to receive seven Diamond Awards for his now-seven albums certified by the RIAA at more than 10 million album sales each. The GRAMMY winner also recently launched his own Garth Channel on SiriusXM Radio.

"We're asking people, 'C'mon and take this ride with us,'" he told ET in September.
Brooks dished that fans can expect appearances on his channel from wife Trisha Yearwood, as well as new music from himself.
"I have been in the studio," he said. "You will actually hear two new albums: the duets Christmas album and then the new fall record." See the interview below.
