Brad Paisley pokes fun at Donald Trump at CMAs 2016, calls Carrie Underwood a 'nasty woman'

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley opened the 50th Annual CMA Awards on Wednesday night with a slew of well-received jokes that directly poked fun of Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump.

The nine-time hosting duo started off their monologue with a sing-along that expressed their disdain for the 2016 election that has seemingly been going on "for ever and ever and ever and ever..."

"We're so freaking sick of poltics," the sang. "We don't even care who wins! Won't it be refreshing -- instead of the election -- to see us standing up here?"

But the Trump jokes were just getting started.

"This election is taking forever," Underwood said as Paisley put his guitar down.

"Make it end," they yelled together.

After pointing out some of the legends in the room like Loretta Lynch and nominees like Luke Bryan, Keith Urban and Underwood herself, the pair got back to business: Making fun of the election.

As Underwood continued to address the crowd, Paisley stood behind her -- like Trump did to Clinton during one of the presidential debate last month -- and interrupted her mid-sentence with exclamations like "Crooked Carrie," "Liar" and "Wrong."

"I love all you guys," Paisley continued. "But #ImWithHer and this show is rigged ... bigly!"

With that, Underwood turned to Paisley -- playfully annoyed -- and asked him a question that Donald Trump has been asked numerous times over the past handful of weeks: "Will you accept tonight's results?"

"Yes," Paisley replied with a wink."If I win, you nasty woman."

Let's just say that Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood had the crowd in hysterics with their politically-inclined quips.
