Country's biggest stars dazzled on the red carpet Wednesday night -- but we have to be honest, some left us scratching our heads.

Per usual, co-host Carrie Underwood didn't disappoint, with a pale gown fit for a princess -- but singer-songwriter Elle King missed the mark with her risky fringe ensemble.

RELATED: One of the best dressed stars on the red carpet wins major award:

While Faith Hill looked absolutely radiant, her gaudy peplum dress didn't do her justice ... at all. On the other hand, "Bachelorette" star Kaityln Bristowe admitted she "blew it" last year -- but it's safe to say that she redeemed herself.

Oh, and don't get us wrong, Gretchen Wilson is rocking one of our favorite (ahem, casual) outfits -- but it's definitely not fit for the red carpet.

Take a peek below and decide for yourself!
