Idris Elba firmly shoots down Madonna hookup rumors: 'No motherf---ers'

Idris Elba is clearing up any romance rumors related to he and Madonna.

After tabloids reported over the weekend that the 44-year-old actor was spotted kissing Madonna at a restaurant in London on Friday after she went to see him kickbox as part of his upcoming TV series, Idris Elba: Fighter, Elba took to Twitter to directly address the reports.

"Am I sleeping with Madonna? No motherfu**ers... 'Don't believe the Hype,'" he tweeted early Monday.

At the very least, 58-year-old Madonna and Elba appear to be friends. Madonna instagrammed a video of him boxing on Friday, writing, "Idris Elba Smashes it at York Hall!"

Last November, the British actor also tweeted a picture of him holding hands onstage with the Material Girl herself.

"Legend," he captioned the snap.

Elba's three-part documentary, in which he trains to become a professional kickboxer, will air on Discovery next year.

In August, the handsome star had his fans rejoicing when he posed in nothing but his briefs for a sweaty, muscle-bound post-workout selfie. Elba had been working out intensely in preparation for his big fighting debut.
