Bill Murray to sing 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' at World Series game 3

Die hard Chicago Cubs fan Bill Murray will sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during Game 3 of the World Series on Friday night, the Chicago Cubs confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.

Murray, who last week hijacked a White House press briefing to announce the Cubs would beat the Los Angeles Dodgers to reach the World Series, will sing the classic baseball tune during the seventh inning stretch, Alex Wilcox, a spokesman for the Cubs said.

The star and SNL veteran was recently honored with the Mark Twain Prize in Washington, D.C.

The Fall Classic is currently tied at a game apiece between the Cubs and the Cleveland Indians. The series returns to Chicago for three games starting Friday.
