Toni Braxton hospitalized again with lupus, postpones concert

Toni Braxton was in the hospital again Saturday afternoon and postponed her concert scheduled for Cleveland that night.

The singer, who has the autoimmune disease lupus, was just getting back on the road after spending a few days in a Los Angeles hospital at the beginning of the month.

The 49-year-old performer said she's optimistic that her illness will not affect the rest of her The Hits tour. "Lupus needs to be constantly monitored and this minor setback should not affect the rest of her tour," reads a statement on her Twitter account.

On Sunday morning, Braxton posted a photo of herself leaving the hospital on her Instagram account, announcing that she was on her way to that night's performance in Chicago.

She performed earlier in the week in Detroit and Kansas City, Mo., which featured a surprise appearance from Birdman.
