Alex Trebek cruelly roasts 'Jeopardy!' contestant over personal story

We'll take "Well, THAT was rude" for $200.

On an episode of the popular television gameshow 'Jeopardy!' that aired on October 12, contestant Susan Cole, a librarian from Bowie, Maryland, described her favorite genre of music -- 'nerdcore' -- during the portion of the show where contestants share fun facts about themselves.

Having never heard of 'nerdcore' before, host Alex Trebek asked her to explain what it was.

"It's people who identify as nerdy rapping about the things they love," Cole sheepishly replied. "Video games, science fiction, having a hard time meeting romantic partners. You know."

"Losers, in other words," fired back a remorseless Trebek.

"I'm teasing you," Trebek eventually said before moving on.

But the look on her face says it all.

What are basicmanners, Alex?
