Taylor Swift signs multi-year deal with ATT, will headline pre-Super Bowl concert

Taylor Swift has signed an exclusive multi-year, multi-faceted deal with AT&T that will pair the 10-time Grammy winner with the telecom company for years to come. Announced on Tuesday, the partnership will feature content and performances by Swift, including a headline spot at the AT&T DIRECTV Super Saturday Night concert taking place in Houston the night before Super Bowl LI.

The Feb. 4 concert will mark Swift's first time performing as part of the festivities around the big game. AT&T said the Saturday night event will be held at a new, custom-made 64,000 square foot venue in Houston. Fans will have access to tickets through a series of exclusive promotions and campaigns.

More details on the multi-year relationship will be announced soon, but AT&T hinted that the Houston concert is just one of "many opportunities" planned for the coming months.

"We're thrilled to reach a deal to bring Taylor and her unique talents to her fans and our customers in new and exclusive ways," said John Stankey, CEO, AT&T Entertainment Group. "And we've thrilled attendees during the Big Game weekend for the last 11 years with A-list parties and the hottest performing music artists around, so 2017 will be our very best. We're excited to get event tickets into the hands of Taylor's fans and exclusive content from the event to our customers and celebrate the combination of one of the world's biggest artists with one of the world's biggest sporting events."
