Climate change section apparently removed from White House website

Donald Trump's team appears to have made some immediate changes to the White House website.

According to Motherboard, the government site had featured a page on climate change, but as soon as Trump became president, it was removed.

The media outlet acknowledges that it is common for a new administration to edit the content of whitehouse.gov, but they also point out that there is no apparent mention of climate change in the material thus far.

Instead, the revamped site includes what it calls "An America First Energy Plan" which states that "President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule. Lifting these restrictions will greatly help American workers, increasing wages by more than $30 billion over the next 7 years."

Meanwhile, those on social media have posted about other notable changes to the White House website; these include the removal of the pages on health care, civil rights, and the LGBT community.
