Michael Moore tried to crash President Trump's inaugural parade

Michael Moore was seen attempting to enter the inaugural parade on Friday afternoon, one day before his slated appearance at the Women's March on Washington, D.C.

Moore walked down 14th Street toward the parade route with staff before rethinking his decision to enter an area congested with what one of his team members called "a lot of Trump supporters."

The outspoken filmmaker spoke at length with a woman who identified herself as a Trump supporter but "respected" Moore's politics. He also stopped to snap a few selfies with people in "Make America Great Again" gear.

Moore was joined by actors Mark Ruffalo, Julianne Moore, Robert DeNiro and Alec Baldwin, as well as thousands of New Yorkers on Thursday night for protests at Trump's New York City International Hotel on the eve of the inauguration.

"As bad we think it's going to be, it's going to be worse," Moore told attendees. "But the good news is there's more of us than there are of them."

On Saturday, Moore is set to speak at the Women's March on Washington, a walk that has emerged as the largest anti-Trump demonstration during inauguration weekend.
