Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and more stars sneak into the 2017 People's Choice Awards

The red carpet may have been hot at the 2017 People's Choice Awards on Wednesday, but inside the award ceremony is where things really went down.

Several big name stars skipped the red carpet all together in favor of hustling inside to take their seats, leaving fans with an extra fun surprise for fashion enthusiasts.

Gwen Stefani led the sneaky stars in the fashion zone when she snuck into the show in an incredible blue two-piece frock. The look, which featured a tulle set of sleeves, and a cute miniskirt with a watercolor effect, was the perfect color for her bright, blonde locks. She added a bit more sparkle with Swarovski bracelets. Someone who also snuck inside? Her main squeeze, Blake Shelton, who rocked a set of jeans and a blue blazer in order to match Gwen.

The Rock and Kevin Hart were also spotted hobnobbing inside the ceremony -- that was until The Rock flipped his longtime buddy and co-star the bird. The moment was definitely caught on camera, leaving the audience aghast, but backstage the two were spotted laughing about it.

Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, also slipped into the ceremony and were spotted chatting with award winner Justin Timberlake. The talk show host wore a festive burgundy blazer and a set of black slacks, and the always fashionable Portia stunned in a set of black slacks and a one-shoulder, ruffled blouse.

"Fast and the Furious" star Jordana Brewster was also a red carpet skipper, but she showed off her gorgeous, blue dress backstage at the show. The dress showcased her very sculpted arms.
