Watch Chris Martin pay tribute to George Michael while performing at a homeless shelter

Chris Martin did a double good deed when he stopped by London's Crisis at Christmas homeless shelter this week, performing for staff and residents while also paying tribute to late pop star George Michael by singing Wham!'s "Last Christmas."

The Coldplay frontman performed alongside Kevin, the shelter's own "King of Karaoke," according to a Facebook post that shared the duet. Martin even played Andrew Ridgeley to Kevin's George Michael, allowing him to take the lead as he strummed the guitar and occasionally harmonized.

Another attendee, Matthew, shared a photo with Martin on Instagram, saying the singer dropped in to the shelter "with no fuss, no fanfare and no press, to help make tea and coffee and also play guitar so the guests can have a sing song."

This is just the latest fallen legend Martin has paid tribute to this year. On the Head Full of Dreams tour, Coldplay has been playing David Bowie's "Heroes" (not to mention Martin's Carpool Karaoke rendition), and the band has also covered "Nothing Compares 2 U" and "Raspberry Beret" in honor of Prince.
