EXCLUSIVE: Watch the trailer for season 2 of Amazon's 'Just Add Magic'

Before the second season of Amazon's hit series "Just Add Magic" premieres on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Jan. 13, AOL can exclusively premiere the trailer for the upcoming season, announced today, above.

The show, which is aimed at children and teens, follows three friends who find a magical cookbook in one of their attics and get into some fun -- and trouble! -- along the way.

In season 2, one of the book's magical recipes brings back an enemy in Chuck Hankins, who disappeared as a teenager, and comes back seeking revenge. Kelly, Hannah and Darbie must stop Chuck before he puts them in danger.

"Kids and families have embraced Kelly, Darbie and Hannah and we're excited to debut another season next month," said Tara Sorensen, Head of Kids Programming at Amazon Studios. "There's more suspense and magic in the new season as the girls' mastery of magic will be called upon to protect their bond. The first season led our customers to extend beyond the show with family cooking time and hope the new season will continue that tradition."
