Sarah Palin reminds everyone she can 'keep an eye' on Russia

On Sunday, Sarah Palin tweeted a reminder of her proximity to Russia and her past statement that the nation is visible from her home state of Alaska.

Her tweet was seemingly in regards to the recent CIA revelation of Russian hacking and its impact on the outcome of the 2016 presidential election, reports The Hill.

Palin wrote, "Russia's getting out of hand? So says the defeated. Not to worry...remember I can keep an eye on them from here."

The quote referenced was a proclamation she made during a 2008 interview with ABC News.

At that time, Palin, in making a case for her foreign policy prowess, said, "...you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska."

Prior to the 2016 election, Palin supported Trump. However, she slammed his recent Carrier deal as "crony capitalism."
