One state tops list for best restaurants in U.S

For all you foodies out there, are you wondering what are the best restaurants right now in U.S.?

Now we may know thanks to a big reveal from Open Table, which is a tool to help make reservations.

They looked at their data from 2016, including 24,000 restaurants in every state and DC -- specifically the amount of reservations made as well as reviews of these places and then made their list of 100 honorees in no particular order.

New York State leads with 13 honorees, followed by California with 12 and Virginia with 7.

American and French were the most popular cuisine types followed by regional Italian and middle eastern specialties.

The full list is available on open table's site which is great especially if your New Year's resolution is to try and eat at more new places.
