The Voice predictions: Who's at risk on Top 10 results night?

The Voice Top 10 is looking more and more like a case of the haves versus the have-nots.

The former group includes five artists who managed to crack the Top 10 of the iTunes singles at the close of voting time — qualifying for the coveted 5x sales vote multiplier.

That almost guarantees that the three at-risk contestants during Tuesday's results telecast (8/7c on NBC) will come from the latter group.

Granted, downloads are only one component of the elimination equation — there's also online, Facebook and Voice app votes to consider — but over the last several seasons, with only a few exceptions, those at or near the bottom of the sales chart have found themselves fighting for a Twitter save.

This week, there'll be two contestants going home — with eight vocalists advancing to next Monday's semifinals.

Let's make some educated guesses about who's at risk:

To reiterate the obvious, Sundance, Brendan, Billy, Christian and Wé all look as solid as Adam Levine's abs. Ali's failure to hit the Top 10 puts her at mild risk, but she's well ahead of her other four rivals — and her dramatic, show-closing spot should keep her in the competition at the end of the hour.

That leaves us with Josh, Austin, Aaron and Courtney as the most likely candidates to head to the guillotine.

Aaron's been in the Bottom 2 for two weeks running — even last week, when he managed to finish fourth-best on iTunes among his competitors. He's almost guaranteed to be eliminated this time around.

Courtney's Cher cover was utterly bleak — marking her third pitchy performance in a row — and she finally paid the price among Voice music buyers. She, too, looks like a definite Bottom 3 candidate.

That brings us to either Josh or Austin as the final cog in the at-risk wheel. Austin's had a more consistent overall run, and he's got the Blake factor on his side — making Josh the better bet for potential elimination. (I mean, can we really imagine Team Blake producing two of the three lowest vote-getters?)
