Green Day slams Donald Trump in AMA's performance, sings 'No Trump, No KKK'

Green Day is no stranger to making political statements and they snatched up the opportunity to slam Donald Trump on Sunday at the American Music Awards.

The pop rock band performed their single, 'Bang Bang' at the show and chanted anti-Trump lyrics as the crowd cheered.

"No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA," the band sang. The line is actually a twist on the 1982 song "Born to Die" by MDC, which contains the line "No war, no KKK, no fascist USA."

The band -- once the symbol of youthful rebellion and black eyeliner -- continued their legacy with the performance and completely rocked out.

Green Day wasn't the only person to make anti-Trump comments. Hosts Jay Pharoah and Gigi Hadid both took jabs at the president elect with their mocking impersonations of Trump and his wife, Melania. Pharoah also knocked Trump's immigration plans by telling DJ Khaled he might have to leave the country.
