Mark Cuban's surprising response to Trump victory

Updated

Throughout the election, billionaire Mark Cuban, a Hillary Clinton supporter, was one of Donald Trump's most vocal critics.

Following Trump's victory, Cuban was quick to reach a place of acceptance and suggested others follow suit.

In the early hours of Wednesday he tweeted, "We all need to give President-Elect Trump a chance. Support the good. Lobby against what we disagree on. No one is bigger than us all."

Reactions were mixed.

Some lauded Cuban, with one writing, "...amazing statement on your part! Thank you as you are an influential person in this country. We need that right now moving forward!"

Others were less enthusiastic about Cuban's message.

Comments from those people included, "...don't call him president. Gross..." and, "He gets three months tops, then I march on Washington."
