Rams fans are screaming for a new quarterback -- but Jeff Fisher can't hear them

Updated

Los Angeles football fans waited a long time to call the Rams their own again.

But they're refusing to wait for a good quarterback -- and they held nothing back on Sunday as they blatantly yelled that they wanted Case Keenum off the field.

"We want Goff!" chants roared through the Coliseum as the Rams struggled against the Carolina Panthers in the second quarter. Fans even began chanting to bring in Tim Tebow --- a man who isn't even on an NFL roster.

Head coach Jeff Fisher apparently ignored the chants: "I honestly didn't hear them root for Jared," he said.

To provide some context, Jared Goff was the first overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and has hardly seen playing time this season. Keenum completed only 9 of his 19 passes before halftime –- then fumbled the ball to put the cherry on top of a mediocre performance.

Will Jeff Fisher and the Rams listen to the loud chorus of fans begging for Goff to come off of the bench?
