Once a year, people are called upon to cook a giant turkey in the name of tradition for Thanksgiving -- and whoever is cooking is expected to get it perfect without any real practice.

Often times, the turkey cooking doesn't quite goes as planned -- and really, none of us are Martha Stewart's clones.
