Christmas is on it's way and that only means one thing -- lots of love, tons of good food and last, but certainly not least, presents galore! If you're anything like us then your favorite part of the holidays isn't necessarily receiving gifts, but giving them. That look on your loved ones face after they unwrap that super special present is priceless. But we have to say, there is one part in particular about gift giving that we aren't too fond of -- gift WRAPPING.

Before you denying dreading this task, we'd like to point out that we get it -- there are some people out there who just so happen to be amazing at wrapping presents! Truth be told, we wish we had their skills. But for those of us who are gift-wrap challenged, then we've got the trick that just might change the game forever.

In case you haven't guessed it yet, we're talking BOWS. You know those pretty, often colorful things that sit on top of a gift? Well, before you write this off as difficult too, you should know that creating a big, fancy bow is easier than you think! Avoid the professional gift wrapping and do it yourself in just a few easy steps.

You'll need:

  • Ribbon

  • Scissors

  • Your gift (of course)

Here's what you do:

  • Cross the width of your present with the bow

  • Follow up buy crossing the length of your present

  • Knot up what you've got so far

  • Loop up 4 inches of extra ribbon

  • Snip it partly in half

  • Tie knot on package around loop on top of gift

  • Pull loop inside out then alternate

That's all there is to it. Happy wrapping!
