Lawyer: Huma Abedin didn't know emails were on Anthony Weiner's computer

Huma Abedin released a statement following the FBI's discovery of possible Hillary Clinton-related emails on her estranged husband Anthony Weiner's computer.

Karen Dunn, an attorney for Hillary Clinton's top aide, issued a statement on behalf of her client.

"From the beginning, Ms. Abedin has complied fully and voluntarily with State Department and law enforcement requests, including sitting for hours-long interviews and providing her work-related and potentially work-related documents," Dunn wrote.

Dunn went on write that Abedin first learned of the FBI's laptop discovery through news reports, with Politico reporting she has no idea how the 650,000 emails ended up on Weiner's computer.

In a deposition with conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch in June, Abedin swore she turned over all devices containing work related to the State Department, including two laptops and a BlackBerry in her apartment.

Since the latest October surprise for the Clinton camp, Abedin has been keeping a low profile.
