Woman arrested for smearing peanut butter on 30 cars to protest Trump

You wouldn't think of peanut butter as a component in a crime scene, but one woman changed that.

Wisconsin resident Christina Ferguson smeared peanut butter on 30 cars she believed belonged to Trump supporters at a rally. In actuality, it was a meeting of a local environmental club called Tomorrow River Conservation Club.

According to witnesses, Ferguson entered the meeting at 9:30 pm and screamed about how much she hated Donald Trump. She was reportedly holding a "family-sized jar of low-sodium, creamy Jif" peanut butter.

When questioned by police in Amherst Junction, Wisconsin, the 32-year-old claimed she did not leave her apartment that night; however, she reportedly kept licking her fingers. When pushed, she said she did it because she hated the GOP candidate.

"Peanut buttering is better than firebombing, and Trump plans on firebombing everybody in other countries," she allegedly said. She was apparently under the influence at the time of her arrest.

Thankfully, no one was injured and the cars were not damaged. Chief Deputy Dan Kontos said, "Fortunately it wasn't chunky peanut butter, so vehicles didn't get scratched."
