Ovenly's Brooklyn Blackout Cakes were a showstopper at the 'Best of Brooklyn' event.

The black color may be intimidating but this cake is nothing short of delicious.

The cake is made using Brooklyn Brewery's dark cocoa-Black Chocolate Stout. A dark chocolate-pudding buttercream is slathered on top of the cake.

Ovenly even adds a dash of salt to the buttercream, providing a nice contrast from the rich dark chocolate.
