'Hairspray Live!': First cast photo featuring Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson and more revealed -- See the pic!
With less than two months to go, the cast of Hairspray Live! is getting into character.
The stars of the upcoming NBC musical took to social media on Wednesday morning to share the first photo of the cast all dressed up and ready to welcome us to the '60s!
Newcomer Maddie Baillio takes center stage in the cast photo, sporting her signature Tracy Turnblad hair and a bright blue dress. Just behind Baillio are Harvey Fierstein and Martin Short, who will play Tracy's parents, Edna and Wilbur Turnblad, and Jennifer Hudson, dressed in a purple frock as Motormouth Maybelle.
Ariana Grande is perfectly poised in Penny Pingleton's pigtails for the group shot, positioned next to Garrett Clayton's Link Larkin, and in front of Ephraim Sykes' Seaweed Stubbs. Rounding out the photo on the right are Kristin Chenoweth and Dove Cameron as mother-daughter duo Velma and Amber von Tussle, and Derek Hough as Corny Collins himself.

While not pictured, Billy Eichner, Sean Hayes, Andrea Martin and Rosie O'Donnell will also star in the live musical.
Hairspray Live! will air Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
