Ivanka Trump 'liked' a story in which her father says it's OK to call her a lewd phrase

Updated

According to a screenshot posted by CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski, Ivanka Trump liked a tweet about an interview in which her father says it is OK for a man to call her "a piece of ass."

The article linked in the tweet retells the story of a 2004 interview between Donald Trump and Howard Stern, when Ivanka was just 23 years old:

"By the way, your daughter," Stern said to Trump.

"She's beautiful," Trump responded.

"Can I say this? A piece of ass," Stern asked.

"Yeah," Trump said.

The news of this came two days after 2005 footage of Trump making lewd comments about sexual advances he said he could make on women because he is a celebrity.

This isn't the first time he has made sexual comments about his daughter Ivanka, but it is the first time her Twitter account has liked a tweet about it.

In 2006, Trump said on ABC's "The View" that if Ivanka weren't his daughter, he'd be dating her.

In another Stern interview in 2003, Trump said Ivanka has "got the best body."

According to Huffington Post, Ivanka has not yet commented on her father's statements about her.

A source close to her company has released a statement about the tweet liking incident since this story was published, implying that it was an accident:

"A simple mistake was made by a staff member."
