'New Macbook' scented candles sell out immediately

Everyone knows the classic new car smell -- it's so wonderful, it's even been made into a very popular air freshener.

But what about that new Macbook smell?

Apparently, Twelve South in Charleston South Carolina thinks that's an enviable scent, because they are now selling New Mac candles.

The company, which makes Mac accessories, dreamed up the new fragrance while thinking about how much they enjoy the new computers. The candles are now on sale for $24.

That's a bargain for a soy candle that is hand-poured and will last for 45 to 55 hours.

It seems like the worldwide Apple product obsession hasn't stopped here -- the candle sold out almost immediately.

According to people who were asked to describe the smell, they said it's the perfect combination of favorable scents.

The website says it combines mint, peach, basil, lavender, mandarin and sage.

With a fragrance that complicated inside a truly new Macbook, it's no wonder they come at such a price.
