An elementary school teacher's aide in Georgia has been fired for her racist comments about the First Lady.

Jane Wood Allen, who worked at Chestatee Elementary in Gainesville, posted these comments on her now-deleted Facebook account.

Another user, Roni Dean-Burren, took to the social media site to post screenshots of what Allen said:

In addition to this, she posted another article in August and called Michelle Obama a "gorilla" as well.

Following an outcry from the community, Allen was terminated from her position. The Forsyth County School District posted a statement on their Facebook page:

"Effective Monday, Oct. 3, Jane Wood Allen has been relieved from duty and is no longer an employee of Forsyth County Schools," they said. "Racism and discrimination are not tolerated in our school district."
