Hundreds of Luke's Diners from 'Gilmore Girls' will pop-up across the country

As fans will know, the cult show Gilmore Girls is returning on Netflix for four episodes this November. Ahead of the anticipated arrival, Netflix is sponsoring around 200 cafes across the country to be converted into Luke's Diners for one day.

October 5 marks the 16th anniversary of the premiere of the pilot episode. From 7:00 am to noon that day, these Luke's Diners will be giving away 250 12 oz cups of coffee. Some will even be adorned with decor like Luke's baseball cap, a "no cell phones" sign -- and even a cutout of Luke himself.

That's not all: there will be a "fun surprise" under some custom Gilmore Girls sleeves: a few free months of Netflix.
