Rudy Giuliani says Trump is a better choice for president 'than a woman'

On Sunday, Rudy Giuliani appeared on ABC's "This Week" in support of Donald Trump and recent news suggesting the GOP candidate could have avoided paying income tax for some time.

In the process, he ended up taking an apparent dig at women in general.

In lauding Trump's ability to work around the tax laws, Giuliani said, "Don't you think a man who has this kind of economic genius is a lot better for the United States than a woman, and the only thing she's ever produced is a lot of work for the FBI checking out her emails."

The part of the comment that, for many, resonated was the seemingly generalized phrase, "... than a woman."
