Co-workers have hilarious argument -- over a note on the water cooler

Office politics, while sometimes silly, can really impact your experience at work. This tiff, over water cooler temperature, is a perfect example.

One employee in the UK offices of the BBC wrote a note on the water cooler. They asked a "polite request" for their fellow employees to not plug in the cooler, as they like the water room temperature.

Little did they know, this would start a passive aggressive back and forth in the office. Other people wrote responses such as "But 90 percent of everyone else like it chilled!" and "Get over yourself!"

A worker even went the extra mile and typed another note themselves. It claimed that this person has "middle class problems," and said that it is possible to have room temperature water even when the cooler is plugged in. "This you'd realize if you spent a little less time trying to bend the entire world to your will," the note says.

Here are the notes in its entirety:

Whether the argument has been settled is uncertain, but shows just how far co-workers will go in petty arguments.
