Ivanka Trump's new campaign ad targets women voters

Donald Trump released his first campaign ad featuring his daughter, Ivanka Trump.

In the ad, Ivanka explains how her father will help working mothers if he is elected president.

"Donald Trump understands the needs of a modern workforce. My father will change outdated labor laws so that they support women and American families," she explains in the ad. "This will allow women to support their families and further their careers."

Ivanka has championed her father's platform for months, highlighting his plans to support women in the workforce during her high-profile speech at the Republican National Convention in July.

She also reportedly helped to craft her father's policies on working mothers.

A campaign official told the Washington Post that the ad is part of a 7.5 million dollar buy and will air on channels with high female viewership.

The Trump campaign also told the Post, the ad featuring Ivanka tested off the charts with focus groups.

It is expected to start running this week.
