Spears first reigned with "Me Against the Music," featuring Madonna, for two weeks beginning Dec. 27, 2003. She had last led on July 18, 2015, with "Pretty Girls," with Iggy Azalea. Since she first charted with the No. 4-peaking "I'm a Slave 4 U" in 2001, Spears has collected 20 Dance Club Songs entries, including 15 top 10s (10 of which have gone on to hit No. 1).

Remixes from Cash Cash and the pairing of Marc Stout and Tony Arzadon, as well as Trace Adam, among others, helped "Make" make it to the top. The song is the lead single from Spears' ninth studio album, Glory. The set debuted at No. 3 on the Sept. 17-dated Billboard 200 and has sold 112,000 copies in the U.S in its first four weeks of release, according to Nielsen Music.
