Best Bites: Chocolate snickerdoodle cookies

Sometimes, all you need is an warm and gooey chocolate chip cookie. And there's no better fall treat than this twist on a favorite. Covered in cinnamon sugar, these snickerdoodles are perfect for an after dinner treat with milk!

This heavenly dessert is super simple to make, and will become a fall favorite in no time!

Ingredients:

3/4 cup of butter
3/4 cup of granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of chocolate chips
Cinnamon sugar

Directions:

Blend the butter and slowly mix sugar in.
Add egg and splash of vanilla extract.
Blend, blend, blend!
Fold in flour, baking soda and cream of tartar.
Toss in some salt!
Blend, blend, blend!
Add chocolate chips and mix.

Place rounds on baking sheet and roll in cinnamon sugar.
Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
