Cal Ripken Jr. just put his majestic Maryland mansion on the market, and the $12.5 million home is a sports lover's paradise.

The six-bedroom structure comes with an enormous gym, a professional-style locker room, a training room, a full-sized basketball court, and even a baseball-themed home theater called "First Run Theater."

After a 20-year career with the Baltimore Orioles, it makes sense to include a batting cage and a baseball diamond with a stone bearing an engraved "2,131." That's the number of consecutive games played it took Ripken to top Lou Gehrig's record.

Looking through these photos, we're honestly not sure why he'd ever want to live somewhere else.
