Kim Kardashian attacked in Paris by the same man who attacked Gigi Hadid in Milan

Updated

Kim Kardashian had a close call in Paris on Tuesday with the same man who attacked Gigi Hadid in Milan last week.

Kardashian was walking from her car to a restaurant through a swarm of paparazzi when Vitalli Sediuk, the notorious man people bizarrely call a "prankster," came out of nowhere and tried to grab her from behind.

Sediuk wasn't able to fully grab Kardashian, though, before her security guards tackled him to the ground. Kardashian also appeared to have been able to side-step him before he caught hold of her.

The entrepreneur's makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic posted a video of the encounter on his Instagram that captures most of the incident.

Minutes after the attempted attack occurred, Kardashian took to Twitter herself and gave her security detail a shoutout writing, "My security @PascalDuvier is a G."

Kardashian is, of course, in Paris for Paris Fashion Week and will surely be joined by more of her family members as the week continues on.

This is apparently the same man who grabbed model Gigi Hadid from behind during Milan Fashion Week just last week. As Harper's Bazaar pointed out, Sediuk had attacked Kim Kardashian before -- just over a year ago at Fashion Week in Paris in early 2015. He's also pulled stunts on Miranda Kerr and Brad Pitt.
