Campaign manager speaks out on Donald Trump's climate change denial

During Monday night's debate, Hillary Clinton noted that Donald Trump has, in the past, expressed his belief that climate change is a hoax perpetrated by China.

Tuesday morning, Trump's campaign manager Kellyanne Conway clarified the candidate's stance on the matter.

In an appearance on CNN's 'New Day,' Conway said, "He believes that global warming is naturally occurring...There are shifts naturally occurring."

When asked if that meant Trump does not believe climate change is man made, Conway responded, "correct."

Notably, during the debate Trump initially denied ever saying that he felt climate change was a hoax.

A tweet from 2012 suggests otherwise.

That year, Trump wrote, "...the concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive."
