This NFL quarterback's girlfriend caught him watching game film under the table during a date

Carson Wentz is hero of sorts in Philadelphia right now.

The Eagles' prized rookie quarterback is off to a 2-0 start –- something that hasn't happened in Philly in two years.

And if one thing is certain so far, the dedication it takes to succeed in the NFL is there for Wentz.

So much that his girlfriend caught him watching game film under the table once while they were on a date.

The New York Post detailed that Melissa Ulrich, Wentz' high school sweetheart, doesn't hesitate to take his phone away while they're on dates now. She understands his dedication -– she witnessed it firsthand throughout his college career at North Dakota State, which ultimately led to a first-round draft selection.

But watching game film on a date? C'mon, Wentz.

The extra effort seems to be paying off -– the quarterback has completed 60 percent of his passes, scored 3 touchdowns and zero interceptions.
