The Clinton Foundation is laying off dozens as wind-down begins

The Clinton Global Initiative, an arm of the Clinton Foundation, will lay off dozens of employees at the end of the year as Hillary and Bill Clinton concede to the controversies surrounding the charity.

Politicoreports that the CGI will retain "some staff to continue working with donors," but it's unclear how many. It's also unclear how many people currently work for CGI, although it employed 200 at its peak.

The final CGI meeting is being held in New York City this week, where Bono and Bon Jovi have been in attendance, while Hillary Clinton has not.
